Why would u want to pay £200 for a barbie necklace ?? lol... I wouldn't even pay that for a transformer... even though some of the stuff when i was a kid is pretty collectable and got for £100 ++

Its not old, Tarina Tarantino is an L.A Designer, she just uses Barbie in her work, along with Hello Kitty. She seems to be the stars designer of choice atm :)

Ah... I didn't know Hello Kitty was such a big thing here... In fact, a few of my friends were takin a !!!! out of it when we were talkin about it last time! I used to stay in Malaysia and visited HK fairly regularly and Hello Kitty is a pretty big thing there... even for the adults...

  • oooh i love tarina tarantino

i have some bag candy of hers, and 1 necklace which i LOVE

good places to buy tarina are www.dollydagger.com ( or . co . uk???)

    and www.hqhair.com

reasonable prices and only stockists in the uk as far as im aware,

although they seem more expensive when you work out how much postage from america would cost it works out cheaper

oh and that ebay guy, how rude, fair enough if people want top buy a lookeylikey item, but fooling people into thinking its real, thats not on

I just don't see why ebay don't do anything about these sellers that are reported. The one selling these necklaces is still selling them. Also the one I reported for charging you to use paypal is still doing that. I have read loads of threads on here about things that are reported but that nothing is done about. I think it's about time ebay should be held more responsible for the items that are for sale through their site. They have the market on this type of thing and there should be more protection for both buyers and sellers.
Thanks for any help and advice given

If the listing is not describing it as an original, is it still against ebay rules to sell something that looks the same.
I would understand if it were a trade name but I would think jewellery couldn't be copyrighted.

Or is it because the disclaimer is written so small?
