Every time I click a desktop shortcut to a web site like the one I use to access this forum I am getting a message saying the shortcut cannot be accessed and then it goes on to open the page. The message is still there when I close the web page. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this, it's only happened today.

Delete the shortcut and create a new one by going to the web site and dragging and dropping the icon in the browser address bar to your Desktop.
If the problem still occurs post the exact message and also your operating system and web browser version.0 -
Thanks Chippy tried that and it still come up with the error message, its only on shortcuts. Windows XP and Firefox but with IE (not as default) as I need it for some websites. Strange it should happen all of a sudden and cannot think of anything I changed.0
