Can anyone recommend man and van service for move in London?

We don't much stuff and would prefer to load stuff ourselves into van - don't really have any valuables either so no biggy on insurance and would prefer just someone transport us from east London to Croydon. If anyone can recommend that would be great as so far all removals companies said they would have to load and unload for insurance purpose plus expensive!

Go onto anyvan.com and fill in your details. You will get a load of quotes back. Check their ratings and then choose one. Its a great service and I've used it many times.

To give you an idea we paid 120 for one man and a Luton van to move from Forest Hill to just south of Croydon. We gave him an extra 50 quid because it took a lot longer and there was more stuff than I had estimated.

Try Big Yellow Van. I used them to move from West London to SE London and from memory I think it was under £40 with the driver loading it for me. They do have options to load yourself as well that are cheaper.
