Keep at it. I think we all start out reading of other wins and thinking "Everyone is winning except me!". You will win something eventually. Even if it's only something small, the first win is great! As others have said though, enjoy the thought of the prize when you're entering the draw but once you're done, forget all about it.

Life is too short to worry about winning - just enjoy the taking part. If you don't enjoy the taking part, then it's worth finding a new hobby, as comping is mostly about the taking part.

I first came to this forum and started entering comps around August 2008 and spent the best part of a year entering thousands of competitions. I didn't win a single one. Nothing - not even a book token. So I quit. I returned in April of this year and won a comp within two weeks. Haven't won anything since though.

I hardly ever win a thing but when I do win the prizes are amazing! My last win was in March and I enter hundreds every week. Just enter and forget :)

I'm hoping I win one soon now. It seems my luck has gone.

I haven't won anything since November 2013 but I won a runners up prize today (wine glasses and pizza vouchers). I sit here every night entering as many comps as I can but I never EXPECT to win anything, I just HOPE I do. in 2012 I won 3 long-haul holidays which I consider to be major wins, I'e been to the Bahamas, South Africa and the Cayman Islands for free, so I can't expect to win something every week/month.

My husband used to say "you never win anything" but then he got a free wedding (worth 20K) and 2 more free holidays so he now lets me sit here night after night entering comps - one day you will win something and I treat it as a hobby not a guarantee. I enjoy reading about the things I might win but I don't stress if I don't win :)

    Wow! You lucky thing!
