Don't get disheartened. Maybe because you've not won a sausage yet this means you'll have a bigger win to offset it ;) keep the faith

If you enjoy reading books are quite easy to win. Try goodreads, I won so many over the first few months I stopped doing it cos I couldn't get through them. I was watching tv opening 10 tabs at a time & clicking enter without checking what it was about - I got one in Dutch lol so I'd recommend reading the details! ;)
  • I have been comping for 16 months now and have won a free night in a hotel and a couple of stella giveaways. Not much at all but you gotta be in it to win! I do find it somewhat frustrating at times and certainly addictive! Keep at it, you never know. :)

There's a girl with a blog Victoria's Vintage . And she has won a whole load of stuff, mainly beauty, But she must be spending hours every day comping. Take a look :)

You will find bloggers tend to win more -- why? I hear you say

The companies that supply the prizes and the product they win get free publicity when the blogger reviews the product on their blog

I have been entering hundreds of competitions every week for about 4 years now. I've only ever won 3 things.
Now a proud home owner after saving a deposit for 2 years :j

Actually Daza that's stuff and nonsense. If a company wants a product review they offer a free product to the blogger in return for a review, they wouldn't wait for them to win it.

In addition to which I can state categorically I have never reviewed on my blog anything I've won.

It's just bragging at the end of the day and very tacky.

It's a lot of effort for little reward.

It's not a way to make money or get the 'stuff' you'd really like.
Like Sax says the only way to the 'stuff' is to work and earn it.

Daz - I'm a blogger and don't find companies lining up to give freebies or prizes.

It's a hobby - enter and forget (like it says further back)

If all you want to do is win then forget comping..
Thanks to those that post the comps!!

I've been at it nearly a year and had one win. I don't care - it keeps me busy and takes my mind off the shizz with my health. I certainly don't do it with a view to becoming rich or having twenty designer perfumes to choose from each day! Like Daza said up there ^^^ - enter, forget, move on. If you win, lovely and if you don't then just keep on trying.
