I think that's not bad at all. Taking into consideration I've never hired a roofer.

In my experience it can often be tricky to find people for smaller jobs like that. So if you are happy they will do the job properly I would just get it done.
If you want to be sure it is fair, keep trying to get more quotes for the work. It is the only way to be sure.0
