A few questions about 123 cashback cc

Hi I have a few questions about the Santander 123 credit card. I've tried to ask Santander but after 30mins on hold I was losing the will to live. I've never has a credit card before so most questions are just cc query's tbh
Hope you can help.
Can I use the 1% supermarket cashback on places like Tesco direct?
How does the annual fee work. Do I have to sign up for a period of time. Can I cancel whenever I want?
To avoid interest, do I have to pay it off at the end of each month or a month after each purchase?
thanks in advance.
Hope you can help.

Do you already have the card and do you have the 123 current account?
If you have the 123 account and sign up for the card, the fee is refunded for year one if you set up a direct debit within 30 days of opening.
If not, the fee will be charged in one hit to your first statement.
To avoid interest, this will depend on whether you already have it - if you open it now (or recently), it's interest free for 18 months on purchases. You still need to make the minimum payment during this period, but there's no other charges.
If you're outside any offer period, then as long as it's cleared in full, no interest is charged.
1% cashback at Tesco, as a supermarket, I'd assume applied to tesco direct too, but I haven't tried it.
EDIT: for info, this website - http://www.santander-products.co.uk/credit_cards/cashback_search lets you search various places to see their eligibility for cashback0 -
Thanks for the reply. I don't already have the card and I don't bank with santander and I'm not planning on switching.
Thanks. I will be applying for the card.0
