Just Got the standard Rescue with breakdown for £18.02 with Green Flag, along with £5 cashback with Quidco.

Very strange as according to the Breakdown cover guide on here the cheapest you can get it is supposedly £25 & that's after cashback. How strange but on the plus side - :-)

  • Well done, that's the cheapest I've ever seen. I got kwik-fit for a bit more than that last year, but am now with autoaid. One thing to bear in mind with these companies is that they make very little or no effort at all to fix your car at the roadside, they just want to tow you to a nearby garage. When I've had AA and RAC in the past they have actually fixed things for me, on one occasion replacing the alternator (they had one in their van)

Green Flag has always fixed the problem whenever my kids or myself have called them. Faults ranged from knackered thermostat to dirty EGR valve.

Personally, I can't fault Green Flag.

  • interesting, I'd made the mistake of assuming that my personal experience was the norm for everyone.
