Mobile Insurance with Bank or Company?

Hi all,

I've got a new phone (LG G2) which I would like to insure against loss and damage etc, but would like to hear some reviews on the best way to go about it.

I'm stuck between whether to insure my phone with a bank, or to use companies like ProtectYourBubble? Which has the better service?

I've seen the MSE article, but don't know how outdated it is, as some policies have increased in price.

Thanks in advance!

Is it already covered on your home insurance? (check what your excess is though)

I have never bought specific cover for a mobile.

Unfortunately not covered by home insurance - Being a student living with parents, they handle the home insurance and it is the basic plan that covers for building and not contents.
