HI Guys just a quick question what exactly is classed as a default? Back in december 2007 i had a 5 status on my credit file for a home shopping catalogue. The following month it went back to green then closed the account as settled. would this be classed as a default

No it will say (8) if its in default.
That is classed as a late payment-== CREDIT BUILD IN PROCESS 30% COMPLETE ==-
Overdraft - £0 Used/£500 Limit
Vanquis Card - £1000 Limit
Aqua Card - £1200 Limit
Barclaycard Platinum - £2500 Limit
Credit Utilisation 11%/Savings - £18000 -
Thanks I am very confused as I am struggling getting a remortgage but apart from that which was over 6 years ago i only have 1 late payment in 2012
