Hi Guys,

Can't believe its taken me this long to post a thread, but here it goes. I need to know where I stand. I've just received a jacket from Sports Direct which I ordered online. I paid £23.00 plus P&P £3.99 so £26.99 in total. The tag has a sale sticker on that someone has tried to remove (not very sucessfully) as I can still read SALE £15 on it. Would I be within my rights to ask for the difference of £8.00 to be refunded to me?

Many thanks

ato :D xx

    Nope.

You paid £26.99 for goods with delivery and that's what you have now got unfortunately.

Not good there was a sale sticker (badly) left on it though :(

....unless the item is damaged (rip that stitching now atloaas!)

Nope - although you can return the goods using the DSRs..

....and if you did return it, aren't you liable to pay return postage?

I know some companies make you pay.

I want to keep that jacket. It was originally priced at £59.99, so I still paid less than 50% for it...even with P&P! Thanks for your replies, I thought that would be the case...it never hurts to ask though ;)

It wouldn't hurt you to ask nicely to Sports direct. They may surprise you.

I bought some hiking socks off Amazon that were £13. When they arrived they had a sticker saying £8. It was one of the market place traders not Amazon themselves. Just a quick email, nicely pointing it out and hey presto, refund of the £5.

Whilst you're at it, ask Mike Ashely to spend some money on Newcastle United :rotfl:

    *****UPDATE*****
I've received an e-mail from Sports Direct today

I am sorry to hear that your item was price tagged incorrectly but unfortunately as the price when you placed the order was the price that you paid, we are unable to assist further with your enquiry.

    It was worth a try!
