Best way to save £750 a month

Hi all,

Im after a bit of advice really. I've had a quick gander online and amongst all the jargon i really dont know what im looking at.

Basically I have around £750 per month to start saving towards a house. I would be putting it away monthly and would want instant access to it.

Can anyone recommend good savings account for this type of saving? Would it be worth having an ISA and another account for the excess?

Have a look at current accounts - starting with TSB Plus (5%), adding Santander 123 (3%) as you have more than £3,000. Also add Halifax Reward to make another £60 a year. Threads on all of these on the forum.

You could also consider Regular Savers - 6% at First Direct for max £300 a month, 4% at Club Lloyds for max £400 a month, 4% at HSBC for max £250 a month. You are locking your money away for 12 months in RSs.

Forget ISAs completely, the interest rates aren't worth it.
