If you don't want to buy WordPerfect, and nobody can suggest a freeware alternative with Reveal Codes (I'd also love to hear of one, but suspect there's nothing), then I suggest instead of Wordpad (which has very limited functionality) you start using Office online. You just need a Microsoft account to use it, and it's a pretty good offering.
No Reveal Codes though obviously!0 -
Wow - only almost 20 years late (WP had this in 1995)
Word 6 had it in about 1994.
The only way I can think to do something like what the poster wants (ie, not use WYSIWYG) is to type your letter in HTML, then print it from a browser?
All I do when I'm typing a letter is leave it all on default, type my letter, then highlight my address at the top, and drag the indent over?Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -
Word 2002-2003 & Word 2007-2010, reveal codes. Reveal codes still works to this day in WP WordPerfect evolved from WordStar, it was, and is, the only true professional 'document processor' all these years later.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion.
