Am I making the most of what I have?

Good Morning, All.
I am a 25 year old male living on the outskirts of London and working for a business consultancy in the city. As a graduate, I take home £32,000 pre-tax, which should rise to £43,000 at the end of the year (rolling promotion windows).
To date, I have saved £25,000, which is living in a NISA with a building society at 2.75%, I have an allowance of about £5,000 to add to this this financial year (under the new £15,000 p.a rules).
My question is quite simple - from a purely financial perspective, am I making the most out of the opportunities out there? - I am a pretty risk averse person, so would rather not put too much risk on things if possible, I appreciate that higher risk (normally) equates to higher returns.
On the basis that I have c£18,000 in student loan debt, am I about on par with people of my age/gender and location?
Thanks for your help.

For a risk-averse person you are doing fine. Pretty much draw a line and rule out everything else except cash in the bank.Stephen Covey once said that "when you teach once, you learn twice". That is the primary reason for my participation on the forums as an IFA.
Although I strive to provide accurate information in my posts, there may be the odd time when I fail. Yes I know it's hard to believe but even Your Hero can make mistakes. Apologies in advance.0
