Frontlne Dangers?

Hi
Flea'd mine yesterday and I'm horrified to read this.
All my 5 absolutely hate it and I've always poo pooed them saying "why do they hate it so much - it's only a little wet patch?"
OMG I feel aweful.
Can anyone recommend anything else as good for keeping fleas at bay? I didn't think there was anything

A couple of my cats seem to get very hyper and twitchy after being treated. The stuff that was available before Frontline was really awful - all my cats (and the dog) used to salivate and pant after it was used. And it made me wheezy and lightheaded!
You're probably talking about Nuvan Top which was an aerosol in an orange can. I think it was eventually banned due to containing organophosphates which are extremely toxic if ingested or inhaled.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

After reading up to check I'm doing no damage to my doggies by giving them garlic, I've found that it is RAW garlic that is harmful to cats.:heartsmil Proud Weight Watcher :heartsmilStart Weight: 15st 13lb Current Weight: 10st 5lbTotal Loss to Date: 5st 8lb- - -Current 2011 Goal: Lose 8lb by 25th DecemberLoss This Week: -3 Total Loss 2011: -30 -

I've bought a bottle of home made flea remedy costing £15 and the bottle lasts a whole year per pet. The remedy is as effective as frontline apparently, i'll let you know how i get on with it, if it works then it's very good value for money. My comps knackered
I'll be back tomorrow

We use Frontline on our 7 without (thankfully) any problems. I think it is the best product I have ever used. I remember the dreadful Nuvantop days as well! I have used it for years and before that we had flea collers(awful). Two of our cats have severe allergies(innoculations) with one spending 13 days at the vets after having innoculations but dont have any problems with Frontline.Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.
