Closing current accounts to improve file?

Hi
I have a bunch of current accounts that I use as savings accounts.
In general, would it improve my credit file if these were closed/settled?
If so, how long after closing them would it be reflected in the credit file? Day/Days/Week/Month?
Thanks

Do they have overdraft facilities? If not, then no. Current accounts are largely ignored on credit searches if they have no credit facility.
If you were to close them, it'd show up usually in about a month.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0 -
Thanks for the reply.
No they don't have an available overdraft so I'll leave them alone.0
