Hi Amara, I would like to join too if possible - sorry for being so late - I would like to clear my Barclaycard which is £374 in debit. I don't have a job at present so need to be very creative to do this.

  • Hi Amara,

Can I re-evaluate my target from £1042 to £2000; I have reconsolidated some debts into one so I am looking at them as 1 versus multiple.

I am hoping to at least get £1500 out by august.

This month I am declaring £650/£2000
    WSC 2015: #50 - £128/£1378 (2014 #16 - £1000)
    Save £12k in 2015: #188 - £500/3000 (2014 #25 - £4300)
    1 debt vs 100 days pt 21: #15 - £1100/£1200 by 19.3.16(pt 15 - £558, pt16 - £1100, pt17 - £1960, pt18 - £888, pt19 - £1062, pt20- £1165)

After submitting my dissertation & then going on hols for 2 weeks I can finally get back to my challenges and boy do I need focus! Being off for so long in summer is great but I can't get a grip on spending only week 1 of a 5 week pay month and I'm skintight :-(

My target for this challenge is £650 (which will take a month off my DFD - every little helps)
    LBM 03/07 £44k:eek: DFD 31/12/17 :A 12/17 £2545.50
    Credit Card £2500.00 & Next £45.00
    Savings = £81.21 & Help To Buy ISA = £4700.00

    Hi all

I managed to pay £1,141.25 off today... This resulted in the bank calling me thinking it was debit card fraud :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

When I started this challenge is said I wanted to pay off £4k which meant I could pay the following:

    Holiday in full
    £445 off education loan
    £2,250 off largest debt
    Credit card in full.

I have already paid £500 off last month so this means I am now £1,641.25/ £4,000 = 41%

    Woo hoooooooo
    Started again 25th December 2017
    Current tracking - £7,955.84/ £18,282.25 to pay off. (31.12.19)

£7.92 paid off today - worked out I need to pay £6 a day from now on - have committed to stop buying yarn so a little saving there. Have a couple of shifts to prove myself in potential new job next week (fingers crossed). Not much to eBay but could perhaps make the odd thing to sell. Need to get more work too.
