    Morning all

Another lovely day today, fed the dogs outside, although Bran looked to come in as soon as he had a mouthful...tough!

LW.....wish I lived near you, what a wonderful service you provide, Mossy would love you! We dont leave him often and the kennels upthe road is fine, he is fine and he is happy there, but you seem to provide an extra je ne sais quoi!

Oh is currently cooking brunch.....sausages, rashers egg etc...we had the same on Sunday, thought it was all gone, and would have been glad if it were, but he never buys half pounds or half kilos......I would ask for individual items if that were what I neededbut he cant do that for some reason!

Need to crack on with some knitting today, but might do it in the garden so that I can enjoy the sun....need to do some watering and weeding as well. Want to get our monthly medications later....another €144 gone, but needs must.

Dinner will be steak, mushrooms, onions and saute potatoes, will have a large salad as well, trying to up my fibre intake as much as possible.......on the same topic did anyone watch the programme on Channel 4 last night about diet and obesity? We tried but for some reason Ch 4 doesnt come in properly all the time.

I need to eat and then take on the day...younger nephew has just walked in, talk later

    Morning all,

not much to add from me today. All is well. Housework completed yesterday so not so much for me to do today.

Hubby at work till late, 'Youngest' out skating with his friends.

Tea tonight, pulled pork. Its a huge piece of pork that when cooked will be enough for several meals.

JackieO I hope all goes well at the hospital.

Thinking of our dear friends Hilstep and Molly.

    Onwards and forwards,

    have a great day all.

    Hi all
I am slowly getting better. The chemo has all but gone. Not being sick anymore. Still haven't got much of an appetite, lost weight though:rotfl:

Taking it easy this week, as we have DGD and DGS Christening on Sunday, and I want to be well for that.

Hope everyone else is okay. (((((((((HUGS)))))))))) for Molly

Life as hectic as ever, what is this illusion that you have more time when retired:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Wimbledon fortnight, so been spending some time watching it on TV, with crocheting in my hands though. Contact dermatitis, eczema, etc., on my hands still being a PITA. Saw consultant more creams and potions. I'll see you in 3 months she said, since then something has appeared on my eyelid, swollen itchy, thought it was a bite at first, but has been here a week now, plus prickly hear/allergy on my arm over 10 days, even with taking tablets and cream, so booked into GP this afternoon. Upside is DH now doing all "wet" cleaning, I have bought non-bio powder and conditioner for "sensitive skin". - always though I had tough leather TBH.:D;)

Molly I have spoken to her via IM, and she is not that good, she is waiting for a revised date for the op she had to cancel due to M&D situation. After SS stressing her out re Dad, as they said they were returning him home, and Mum was in bits saying she couldn't cope, they eventually have agreed he can go into a Home :mad:. DD coming home from Uni shortly, and that will be a big help to her.

Currently watching Federer, while typing this, and packing the 'van as we are off tomorrow for 10 days to Harrogate for the TdeF & GYShow, but don't think I will be attending either, but will be looking around the great countryside.
Just bought a pigs ear from the local butchers for 30p to see if Skye liked them, silly question it has disappeared quickly, so may get some more 4 for £1.
Had my hair trimmed back into style this morning, and got rid of the Sparkles, so looking tidy again.

((Hugs))' Spoons, positive vibes all round, and apologies for any Birthdays missed. Have another cake. :bdaycake:
    Take care everyone. DG

    Good afternoon.

The weather is glorious here today, washing line is full again... I really do not know where it all comes from

Well I was planning a day of tidying round the house in the morning then planned to spend the afternoon in the garden tending to the veg patch, instead I've had to make a trip into town to buy my ds a new pair of swimming socks, I really do not know where I have put his other pair, after searching the house last night I have not got a clue where they are, but no doubt they will turn up, I'm really annoyed with myself cos it was £4.50 I really didn't want to have to spend

Anyway, whilst up town I nipped to the tip to drop some rubbish off, called into home bargains for a few toiletries, filled the car up with petrol & nipped to sainsburys for cheese and butter... So my purse is very nearly empty till DH gets paid next week.

Dinner tonight was meant to be Jacket potato, quiche and salad, instead we have beef & mushroom curry because I got the beef out the freezer last night instead of the quiche.

Just done an list of the freezer contents, I had more in there than I originally thought so will be spending the evening doing meal plans for the next few weeks.

Whilst in the freezer I found a sea bass I bought as a woopsie on the 30th Jan, I froze it as soon as I got it home, but it has been in the freezer for 6 months now do you think it will be safe to eat? I'm sure fish only keeps in the freezer 6 months, I'd hate to cook it and make us ill.

Hope you've all had a lovely day.. x

Had another busy day today, I was up at 5am there was a blurdy fly buzzing in my room all night  so it is catching up with me now, I feel totally cream crackered, so I might go and get my head down for an hour

It is lovely and sunny now, but it looked really dodgy at 11am.
Had another wash binfull to do and then DD has given me another lot  so that will not be done until tomorrow.
DH and DS took a car load up to the tip today, and I have been sorting stuff to do a carboot hopefully this weekend, weather permitting.

Hope you had a good night's sleep hester.

    Molly....hugs
Donny.....what type of yarn are you using? I have some kind of stupid rash which erupts on both forearms if I crochet much with cotton.....no idea why.

Have just watched Kerber beat Sharapova at Wimbledon.....am a great fan of Maria.

ps...Jacksmummy, would have no problem using the sea bass, beautiful fish so enjoy

    Afternoon all,

Glad you are over the chemo Hillstep. thanks Donny-gal for the Molly update.
JackieO - Hope all went well at the hospital today.

Another nice day again today. Met a work colleague at Dobbies for coffee this morning. It was nice to meet outside of work and have time to chat. My dad popped in this afternoon. He had been to the Priory (Mum's resting place) as it is the anniversary of the day they met in 1959! It's hard to see someone you love missing the love of their life :(

Did the ironing and now I'm off to finish making dinner.
