I wrote to Gmac a company I have dealt with when I've had a car on hp. They told me it was basically not them who had sold it to me it was the vauxhall garage I had dealt with!
I've seriously given up hope as it seems like I'm not going to get anywhere with it!

They are right.
Also, if it was sold prior to January 14th 2005, they won't have been regulated either so could dismiss your complaint.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -

That is correct. If you are going to complain about something being mis-sold you complain to the company that sold it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
