You have certainly given us food for thought!

He is offering us the full asking price which is £10,000 more than the best offer that we have had.
It is only a small one bedroom cottage and the asking price is £68,000

I can see what is in this for the tenant/potential buyer, but I cannot imagine why you, as vendor, would want to sign such an agreement.

Unless, of course, your property is exceptionally difficult to sell and you cannot find any other buyer.
