    I think they can charge you the cost of repair and not do it, it is the value of the damage after all. Shame you couldn't get the cheap repair done before you took it back.

    I dont really see the problem of getting you to pay for the job and not doing it.

    If it was your car and someone damaged it, you get a quote and they offer to pay cash, you accept the cash then it would be up to you wether you did the repair or not.

    If they go ahead and do the repair the cost may be higher

    Thanks for all the messages. Yep think I will just have to take this one on the chin. They've already taken the funds as it was on CC but was wondering wether or not to dispute it.
