Very annoyed with myself, my hair polish was getting very hard to squeeze from the tube so I cut it open, only to discover about a month's worth left - doubt it will now last that long though?!
Can't you pop one half of the tube into the other? I do this once I've cut a tube open.
I ordered the Ultrasun TSV from QVC yesterday as we used this brand last time we went on our cruise and it suited us all. Am going to have a purge and throw out all existing sun tan creams that I have as they are all pretty old and mostly empty bottles.
OT though I am buzzing from last night. Saw Robbie Williams at the Phones 4 U Arena. Have been singing "Nobody Likes a Fat Pop Star" all day.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hi all
I have a UU to report! :j :j Goodness, it's like I'm on many LHJs at the mo, so it feels like a minor miracle to have actually got a UU!

We have a "Swaps Group" on Facebook when you can swap good condition items with other like-minded addicts. PM your email address to Trudij, Tokkiandoliver, seasideDreamer or luvlycake and they can add you to the group.
I think seasidedreamer or luvlycake would be your best bet, as the others don't seem to frequent the thread any more. Not too much activity on the FB page, but I agree that it would be nice to sort some swaps.
Thank you, will try that.
A couple of things we used to do on an American forum I'm part of:
1. RAOK (random acts of kindness) - we would all put our names/addresses together, and an 'admin' person would dish them out. Then, we would box up some bits and pieces and send them off to our RAOK person. Fab way to 'get rid' of barely used items and get some great stuff back.
2. A beauty box that would be 'passed on'. So, the first person would stock it, and send it on to the next person. That next person would take out 2-3 items, and replace them with the same amount of items, and pass it on to the next on the list. Eventually it would come back to the first person with a whole new box of stuff. This was a fab idea, but cost of postage may prohibit now.
The RAOK one is fab, I used to love being a part of it, the girls used to put such care into their boxes. Unfortunately we had to stop it overseas as too much was going missing and too expensive to post in the first placeWould be great if we could have one here??

2/147. Sanex Dermo Moisturising Shower Gel 75ml - this was a freebie and I WNB, didn't like the consistency, it was like jelly! Not very lathering.

I keep an empty moisturiser pot for just these occasions! Do you have any empty pots with lids that you could decant the rest into? If it was too hard to squeeze out the tube then it needed to be cut open, some crazy people would have just thrown it in the bin!
Also I am very jealous of you UU a body lotion a week, I just don't think I cover enough of myself in it, it would take me at least a month!!No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018

Thanks for the suggestion, and to VALM too. It was my plan to hunt around at the weekend when I have more free time as I'm sure I have a small pot somewhere kept just for this purpose. I did feel quite smug when I cut it open and saw how much was left - it's amazing, isn't it, when you usually think you've squeezed as much as possible out!
Not quite sure how I use one per week, I'm only little! But I do moisturise every day, and they're just 100ml pots (and butter, which I find you need more of) so I guess ~15ml per day is about right. It does make me feel vindicated for buying quite so many of them when I realise how quickly the stash will go down! :AMFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -

Hehe oh I had fun at the Boot$ sale alright but these were bought after that! :rotfl:
I bought 38 altogether so doing pretty well at getting through them!
Did make me laugh when DH groaned and said: "not more mande lular!" - was a bit of a wake-up call, DHs should not know the actual product names!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -

I love the RAOK idea, but think postage would make it a bit prohibitive. Rosemary mentioned a Secret Santa, think that was before my time but how about we reintstate it this year?MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0
