Not sure if I've asked this before, but just in case not..

Are we allowed to do 'swaps' with each other for items? I have a lot of stuff in my 'stash' that I've used once and just didn't suit my hair/skin etc. Would be good if we could swap with each other and maybe discover hidden gems/get rid of stuff we didn't like?

I have 2 UU's but they're not from my stash list as I found them in my old gym bag (shows how long it's been since my last gym visit!)

Dermalogica body exfoliator mini - did the job but had a weird smell WNBA

Boots Almond extracts shower gel - nothing special but was a freebie anyway so nothing lost. WNBA

I also found a few mini shampoos/conditioners in gym bag too so I'm using those up at the moment. Couple more hair washes and they'll be gone:D

think there is a swap shop via facebook but never done it myself,no doubt others will post about it.we used to do a secret santa but that seems to have stopped

I HATE DEBENHAMS!!!!!(see last nights post)after 30 mins messing with Debs account and getting two emails from them about the order I then had a third which under status had "cannot fulfil"went on the website only to find they had cancelled the order as had no stock so why could I order in the first place????plus rubbish way to tell someone ,easily missed and not at all customer friendly
have now ordered some nail envy to use the points as mine are awful and it seems to help plus a bra I will return in order to get free post!
came down today to find sooty paw prints all over two cream throws after Dear cat went behind the woodburner to use the loo!!!!!rather annoyed as only washed one this week plus am washing the bedding already as DH home tomorrow(he loves clean sheets,not because I had got up to any mischief whilst he was away.....tooo busy ordering from Debs!)

rosemary54 I don't know why but LOADS of shops seem to have such awful stock checkers now! I tried to order a little glass jar from Dunelm "2 in stock" great I'll pick it up tomorrow, can collect from 10am, 10am I got a phone call "sorry we don't have any" and a external hard drive for my dad for fathers day, ordered from PC world while eating in the shopping centre over the road, the do "collect in a hour" just get up to PC world they phone to say its out of stock! GGRR!!!! Totally feel your pain.

Also interesting fact for the day! The white line you broke your nail below is the quick, the quick protects the nail bed by attatching to the free end of the nail and the finger
Doesn't make it hurt any less knowing that though does it really hate it when that happens






I had to go out and buy shampoo and conditioner yesterday, I'm house sitting so its really frustrated me, being an Avon rep with a giant bottle at home ggrr! I wandered around Boots for ages, really wanted to go to superdrug get some samy but oh well, finally decided on giving the new garnier ultimate blends sleek restorer a go, not tried it yet but it smells like chocolate and the big bottle was cheaper than the small so it's going to last me a while.

Also boots don't seem to stock the James Brown range any more I LOVE the photofabulous hair spray but at £8 a pop hardly ever bought any now I missed it reduced to £1.50 a thing
Does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement?

Carmex Lip Balm 7g, this tin has been in my life for many, many years, recently I have used it in the car and now it is gone. I love it though.

I have a GA too

Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm - this is a pencil for the lips but it is too shimmery and pale, I gave it to DD, she loves it.

My Body Shop Shea Oil goes on despite slathering it on last night after my bath and then begging DH to use it too.

There's a FB swaps page, the details are in the OP but are a bit hidden:

We have a "Swaps Group" on Facebook when you can swap good condition items with other like-minded addicts. PM your email address to Trudij, Tokkiandoliver, seasideDreamer or luvlycake and they can add you to the group.

I think seasidedreamer or luvlycake would be your best bet, as the others don't seem to frequent the thread any more. Not too much activity on the FB page, but I agree that it would be nice to sort some swaps.

I have UUs:

2/147. Sanex Dermo Moisturising Shower Gel 75ml - this was a freebie and I WNB, didn't like the consistency, it was like jelly! Not very lathering.

3/148. Sanctuary Mande Lular Body Souffle 100ml - HG and WDBA but still another 34 :eek: of these to get through. I'm using at a rate of about 1 per week, though.

4/149. No7 Perfectly Bronzed Dual Bronzer - WMBA, I was paid to take this away thanks to a Mr B glitch a couple of years ago. Did the job but quite shimmery - my HG is MAC. Was down to a tiny rim around the pan and then shattered this morning - will probably replace with same, a few more stashed!

Plus another two which are currently cut open and will be finished today so I'll declare now:

5/150. Sanctuary Intensive Heel Balm 75ml - WBA, does the job.

6/151. L'Occitane Almond Hand Cream 10ml - freebie and WNB, nice enough but didn't wow me and there are others much cheaper which do as good a (or better) job.

Very annoyed with myself, my hair polish was getting very hard to squeeze from the tube so I cut it open, only to discover about a month's worth left - doubt it will now last that long though?!
