    Just spotted this

Just wondering what your thoughts are?

If I follow this most of my make up would be gone :o! :/ I'm thinking I do need to go through and be harsh though... Should I follow their times?
I used a perfume the other day definitely gone off! I smelt horrid :( (thankfully it was only a cheap next one bought in a sale but still....oops!)

This I can relate to after my recent off perfume experience. I have a second perfume which seems to have lost its smell. It does not smell bad, it just hardly smells at all.

I have had very old lipsticks dry and taste bad but I have never had powdered make up go off at all. The beauty industry have an interest in us all chucking good stuff out and buying more. Cream and liquid eye make up products are a bit different and more likely to go off.

    That's my experience of it.
  • Transferring to a pump bottle works for me too.Shower gel, shampoo etc go much further and are easier to use. No dropping tops or dispensing too much.
I have used up three products this week - antiperspirant, shampoo and a moisturiser.
Only purchase was a Pearl Drops tea and coffee drinkers tooth polish.
Had free dental check and hygienist session so think I need to keep teeth as clean as possible for as long as possible.

Evening ladies, another small use up to report after my shower this morning: Nivea Body Smooth Sensation sachet 4ml. This was nicely moisturising, smelt pleasant and left my skin soft, but it took a while to absorb and was not quite thick enough for my liking. I might possibly buy it in future, but I think I prefer the Sanctuary Mande Lular Body Souffle.

I'm actually doing quite well with my July Project Pan list for a change! :p
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/

Sorry I have not kept up this month.

Finally packed and nearly ready to go on my holiday.

Sundaygirl , I am going to San Francisco, New Zealand and Hawaii with my mom.

I have lost count of UU's this month so will sort out what I have used when I come back.

Hope everyone is well, happy birthday, hope everyone has a great summer.

Have a great trip Sam! I hope you packed some warm clothes, it's pretty chilly here in NZ at the moment!

I have been very good with nothing bought in so far this month, but I did chance my arm to ask at the Clinique counter for a sample of the Smart Serum and blagged three sachets. I won't bother counting them in and out as one has gone already and the other two will quickly follow. :rotfl:

Safe journey and have a lovely time, Sam. :j

    2 UUs...

Archeia Rose Cream - WNBA, got this in my YBD box. It was just 5ml and the 15ml costs £47.99  I wanted to see why it warranted such a high price tag. This lasted a week - 10 days. It was only lightly rose scented but nothing special at all.

Suddenly Madame Glamour - WNBA, Lidl perfume I got for £1.99. It was nice enough but I'm not really a floral scent type person. There are a couple of squirts left in the bottle, but I have another sealed bottle in my stash and want my mum to try it and if she likes it she can have the new bottle. If not, the unopened bottle will go to the charity shop.

Pixitott, I hope you got my PM to say the Chubby Stick arrived. :T Thank you for sending it. Just as well I don't count make up ins... :p

    Have a lovely holiday sam.4000

FutureDreams - will you let us know if the Pearl Drops works, I used to use a tea and coffee drinkers toothpaste but stopped as thought it might be a bit abrasive.

assett - I agree with you, shower gel, bubble bath and hand wash must be practically the same products. Imperial Leather do some nice basic family products so I would have bought those too.

No uu to report but have some tubes cut open and should have a uu after my bath this evening.

I went into Boots yesterday but it must have been about 90 degrees in there so I didn't linger, at the other end of the scale I went in Sainsburys and they must have had the AC on full and it was freezing.

Hi everyone, back from my touring hols in North Wales and just caught up with 5 pages of posts, so hugs to those that need them, yay for UU's, wedding plans and impending holidays.

I have a few UU to report when I sort things out, but not as many as I had hoped for. I had very bad hay fever or an allergy that made my eyes run badly and the eyelid and undereye area was bright red and very sore for almost a week:(. Thankfully I had packed myVitaminE oil and for a lot of the time could only cleanse with warm water and a face cloth and the only product I dared use was the oil, as the break out was spreading south on my face. I have had this happen before, but tests have never found the cause, so I usually keep a prescription ointment that can be used on and in the eyes, so didn't have to go to Doctors or hospital this time:)

Trying to catch up with the washing mountain before the heating engineers arrive tomorrow to fit new boiler and totally disrupt utility room.

Welcome back Maddie, I hope you had a lovely break despite your troublesome eyes. I had my first ever holiday alone with my children in N Wales and have very fond memories as a result :)

I have a couple of UU:

UU #123: Dove Original Bar 100g; WBA, HG. Replaced with same from stash.

UU #124: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair 7ml; finally finished the sample which kicked off my obsession. Looking forward to starting on the big bottle tonight as I love a bit of pipette action ;)

I need to go to Boots tomorrow, hoping I'll escape relatively unscathed. We're out for lunch in Birmingham and I need to remember that anything I buy will have to be lugged around for a few hours; that should put me off a bit :p
