Info required regarding paying off a debt

Hi there,
I paid a debt to a company called lowell group in payment for a unpaid debt on my behalf. Now the debt was in conjunction with a CCJ they were going to file but on the notice i paid them 2 weeks before the month in which it could be classed as satisfied. So on the phone the woman said she would sort out an email and password it so that only i could see it as a receipt. This was on the 6th June, sitting here now on the 30th, having sent 3 further emails, and numerous un answered phone calls, i've had no information back off them and my credit file hasn't changed at all.
Should i be worried, or are these processes normally very long winded and should i give it more time, i'm only slightly worried as the debt was for a lot of money and i've heard nothing since.
Can anyone advise me on anything i can do to maybe get some info back from them? I have proof that i've paid it and when via my bank statements etc so hopefully they would cover me in any dispute?
Cheers guys, 1st time using the forum, hopefully it can help.
