    Something Different
Found sparkly Roadkill - was in Tescos and spotted a diamond ring on the floor past the check out. Wasn't sure if it was real, but said to hubby - I'm going to hand it in. Customer service was really pleased because this morning someone had rung in - they had lost their engagement ring. They took my number and a little while later the finace rang me to say Thank you and that they would like to send me some flowers. I explained that I was just happy that they had got it back and that don't worry about getting me flowers - put a donation into a charity box.

It made me feel really good that my Roadkill observation skills had done someone else some good. :T

Hope everyone else had a good day.

Love that story, I'm glad you found it and not someone else who might not have done the right thing and handed it in.

I found 5p in the pub on Sat night and that was it for the weekend.

Edit - I forgot I also found 2p in the pub on Friday as well and have just found 1p at the petrol station, which I saw as I was about to drive off. So had to get out the car again to pick it up.

All that I can see on the first page is that the name list was last edited on 16th June. Not sure what else to do.

Hi Thriftkitten and taskey, sorry for the delay in replying; I was out of the country for a few days.

Welcome to the challenge, you have been assigned number 31 and number 75 respectively. Good luck for July, keep your eyes open!

So far this month I have found a few pennies, some exotic roadkill and a bracelet charm... I am turning into a magpie, will pick up anything that shines ;)

Hope you enjoyed your trip away Joylimited, was it business or pleasure?

I found a £1 coin at work yesterday on the floor in the car park and a 1p coin when I went out for a walk in the evening. This has now been my best month so far and have nearly doubled my entire finds for the whole year in this one month.

Thank you for my number, I'm wearing it with pride hahhaa! I was in Te*co today at the self checkout and noticed 5p on the floor... the checkout lady opposite was glaring at me as I bent down to pick it up; So I very politely asked if I could keep it as I was a member of a "Road kill" forum :T After explaining what that was, she was hysterically laughing and said "Well finders keepers" Happy days!!
