Summer holidays activities

Does anyone have any ideas for cheap/ free activities with the kids over the summer holidays? We're planning a few days out delivering BT directories as this will earn us money, keep the kids occupied and give us all some exercise while the weather's good.

Bet your kids are made up with that .:rotfl: Our local park does poo picking days. They even provide gloves you can keep afterwards .
