Help please with share valuation

My father passed away 05/06/14 and as executor I am calculating the value of the estate, which will be liable for inheritance tax.
My father owned a few share holdings, I have the contacted the companies who have written back to confirm the share holding at the time of death but could not provide a value. I have not been able to find a website that publishes the values on the day of death, if anyone has any suggestions about where I can obtain the figures to make a valuation I would appreciate it.
The shares are;
BP Ordinary shares of $0.25 each, Centrica plc ordinaary shares of 6 14/81p, Shroder income ordinary 10p shares.
Thanks for reading.

I think I've read these right but a second opinion would be good.

Thank you very much for such a quick response, I had found that website but although I could see the current value I couldnt see how to look back at the past values - was that staring me in the face or is it more complicated?0

Just seen your link to the interactive chart, thank you it seems obvious now!0

A left click on the chart (or clicking on the interactive chart tab) turns it into an interactive chart. Simples.... well it was when I eventually got it to work which involved installing a Java plug in........0

Ha ha, not just me then, thought I was not keeping up with the IT when I had to install the Java update!0
