Executors Accounts

I am the executor of my father in laws estate. I have opened an executors account for the estate however this account does not pay interest. What are the options for executors accounts that pay interest. There will be a fair amount of money going into this account so would like the estate to receive some return on this while the estate is sorted out.

We requested a savings executors account, alongside a current executors account, when dealing with my late mum's estate. The savings account only pays 1%....but better than nothing! We have to manage the account in the local TSB branch (no internet access available with executors accounts)

Or you might consider making interim distributions to the beneficiaries as soon as possible.

Thanks for the replies. Before making payments to beneficiaries I need to wait until the final tax return & capital gains tax calculations have been submitted 7 signed off by HMRC
