Places to eat with children near battersea travelodge?

We are staying at the Battersea Travelodge during the summer for a couple of nights and was looking for some local information about decent places to eat with kids?

I've stayed here once, last year (or year before). Don't recall anywhere in close proximity and google maps doesn't reveal any chain names nearby - except the usual pizza / chicken takeaways etc.

Presumably you'll be out and about in London during the day, might as well eat while you are out as opposed right near the hotel.

There are a few places to eat on the riverside which would only be a couple of minutes walk. The River Quarter Kitchen is quite nice and there is a pub that does food which seemed quite child friendly (think it might be called The Waterfront) .

You're a 10 minute walk to Clapham Junction where you could get pizzas, burgers, vietnamese, chinese, japanese, italian - just about anything really. If you would rather not walk, the 295 stops outside the hotel and takes you to the front of Clapham Junction Station. (If you're going into town, the 44 will take you to Victoria from the hotel - if you walk a bit further up to the next bus stop towards the Candle factory you can also pick up the 170 which goes to Victoria)

I would recommend a fab fish and chips shop which is a bit more of a walk but well worth it. It's on St John's Hill.
