Oatcakes with cream cheese and salmon trimmings (the Asda smartprice ones - I divide the packet into about 4 and freeze the servings, then use for lunches / sarnies / cook into pasta / or give to the cat if she's really lucky!) with slices of cucumber, tomato and artichoke hearts for lunch today. Had take some salad leaves but upon inspection they'd gone bad - which I was a bit miffed about as were dated 24th and only opened them the other night.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Yesterday had vegetarian pasta left overs for lunch - it was very nice cold. Today I had salad with sausages - 98% lean from the butchers - yum yum! Both days I also had blueberries and blackberries from the garden - free food - woo-Hoo!
Tomorrow we have an all day meeting and lunch is being provided-

I'm in. I am pretty terrible at taking lunch to work but added up how much I spend on garage sarnies a week, well I am not happy.
Today will be ham and pickle sandwich although I will be making a large batch of tuna and sweetcorn for the coming days.0 -
Had cheese and cucumber sandwiches today. Why does grated cheese taste better? But because I have been stressed... I've been naughty had crisps, cake bars and chocolate the last two days. Will be back to normal soon.0

Hello, hello. Just checking in to report that I had tuna sandwiches yesterday and to ring the changes I had tuna, creme creche, lemon and chive toasty today.. We went for a team lunch which was nice.
How is everyone doing?0 -

Hey everyone, been a while since I logged in.. March to be exact! Had loads on, crazy hours at work etc but I'm going to make a real effort to get back on the mse track since I've had the news this morning that my last debt payment will NOT be next month now, it'll be more like October! Which I'm not happy about as I'm planning on going back to Greece in October...
Therefore I have decided to try to pay the rest of my debt off next month regardless and still aim for Greece in October but it'll be VERY tight!!!! £2461 over 10 weeks, £961 of it for next month!
Anyway, I digress, sorry for the rant and to go off topic...
Today I have breaded chicken steak and salad with onion, tomato, olives and feta for lunch and I think I'll do chicken and bacon stirfry tonight.
Work tomorrow in 2 different venues so it'll be a 9am til 11pm probably... I get free soup at work so I'll have that and take some stir fry in.
Hope you're all ok xxCredit Card Debt:[STRIKE]£12991[/STRIKE] £12526

Hi B17c,
Nice to see you again! :-). My goodness paying that lot of seems a very tall order I can see why you would need cheap lunches!! Hopefully we can keep eachother motivated!
Stirfry sounds good.. Free soup is great I wish our work could do something like that.
Yesterday we had the best sandwich ever. Pita bread with cream cheese and roasted Mediterranean vegetables... It was gorgeous. Today was tuna mayo and salad which was nice but not as nice as yesterday's.
Anyway in an attempt to show that I am saving money I visited these up in places that I may be likely to go for lunch. £3.60 for yesterday's sandwich, £2.50 for today's.
Oh and today I made cheese and pineapple cocktail sticks for my snack.. Gorgeous!0 -
Hello again,
Well I have been plodding on with lunches. Yesterday's sandwiches were horrible cream cheese and hummus... I know I know in my head it seemed nice. But today's lunch was gorgeous. I went to a vegetarian cafe with a friend and the food was out of this world and reasonably priced.
At the minute I think sandwich paste is on the cards for tomorrow.. It's one of my favorites :-)0 -
Hello
I always take lunch into work, well it's breakfast really as my break is at 10am, I work 6-2 shift so for me it's lunch lol
Anyway, I usually make some type of pasta, rice or couscous salad and at the moment I'm getting lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber from the garden and then I put eggs, tuna, cheese or salmon trimmings in with it, this then keeps me full until I get home and then I have my breakfast of cereal, and later dinner, it works for me but writing it down it sounds s odd!!
