Happy Birthday Bossy, hope you're having a wonderful day.

I'm in this week, have been trying to keep up the last few weeks with varying levels of success. I'm in awe of Pigpen and all the other ladies who have children, I'm struggling to keep on top of everything with just Noo! Really need a kick up the backside this week though as DH is away with work so we didn't do any housework over the weekend as we wanted to have quality 'family time' AND nothing will depress us faster than either me living in squalor while he's gone or him arriving home to it. The list looks really good, suitably flexible for working around LO!

    Monday - Downstairs Dash
HH tidying, putting away and floor clearing
Hoover and mop all the floors you can see
Wipe kitchen work surfaces and clean the sink
    S&S toilets and basins
Dust the electricals and anything else you have time to.

    My very own list:
Arrange contents insurance, STILL hasn't been updated
Empty ALL of the bins, even the bedroom and studio ones
    Complete HC and A orders
Varnish Noo's furniture and order wall stickers
    Remove house board
Ask Dad to fit the wall cupboard and drawer restraints
    Finish all washing and ironing
Take off the kitchen drawer front
Do some work in the garden
Get picnic things for Saturday (when DH is home for a couple of hours before heading off again :o)
Make sure everyone's outfits are complete for the wedding

My June challenge is going pretty well, will come up with some new challenges for July.

    June's challenges:

Amyloofoo - Do some exercise every day, even if it's just taking DD to the park (managed most days, but not all) Make sure I get the referrals DD and I both need (still waiting unfortunately, but will chase up again today) Meal plan and stick to grocery budget (managed to stick to budget but didn't meal plan for every day, definite room for improvement) Get rid of the evil overdraft (done :j) Send letters to P and D (done) Arrange a visit to family (visited P and have letters to send to other family, must try to finish this week) Try to lose 1kg in preparation for the July wedding (lost 2kg  but not sure I can take all the credit as mostly it was through being too busy to eat!)

    July's challenges:

    Pay off CC1
Finish wall art for Noo's room
    Start work on the garage
Get at least 10 items on eBay
Make sure EVERYTHING is updated to the new address
    Chase up utility bills
  • Thanks Dusty, I'm in.

ionafan is it really a year since you moved?!

    S&S toilets and basins

    Plus:
    • drag lazy DD to T*sco
    • 'encourage' lazy DD to cook dinner

      Tuesday - Declutter Day
The cupboard of doom in the kitchen...
    Weeds

    Wednesday - Deep Clean Day
    Bathroom
    Landing

    Thursday - Frog Feast
    Council tax
    Parcel returns

    Friday - Unwieldy Upstairs
    Fling old/unwanted clothes
Bring food stash downstairs (don't ask...)

That's quite enough for me. Have a good day everyone x

    Happy Birthday Bossymoo .

The sun is shining so I have washing on the line. Off to clean the loos and basins.

Unfortunately we just have too much to do today to go to the zoo. The kids aren't too bothered. They have helped with the decluttering.

Front room is almost presentable!!! It is partially decluttered, flung, charity shopped and put away.. it is much tidier and a bit cleaner but very full still!

I have a box to go to DD1 and a mountain in the car to go to charity shop.

DD1 has just been sent to hospital with her sicking.. which no doubt means extra moaning from her!

Oh, your poor DD1 pigpen, is she being admitted for IV fluids? It must be miserable to be still feeling so crappy, especially with a littlie to look after too.

I have gutted my bathroom. The shower curtains are having a bleachy soak and everywhere else has been sparkled, even the top of the bathroom cabinet. Some excess shampoo etc rehomed from the windowsill, I need to nag skids again about putting stuff away when they're finished in the shower. Might as well try to clap with one hand :rotfl:

Kitchen sides cleared and disinfected. Sink polished. Floor swept and mopped on both bathroom and kitchen. All the bins and waste paper baskets emptied, that's half a black bag if tut gone.

I need to get on with that HHTidying in the lounge, DSS is finally awake (he went to bed at 10pm!) so I'll get him to pack up his xbox which is ALL over the place. Then it's the laundry shuffle and I'll crack out the ironing board.

Washing shuffle done, not 'yet' raining here.

    More dusting done
Off to eat some thing from the cupboards.

HonnyB all my foods are in the kitchen, because of the 2 jobs I have and no days off as such, I like to have 'stuff' in so I can create as need be, ie I freeze fresh meat in portion sizes then defrost as needed , so have pasta and such like, or chops and vegs and so on. But that also means I HAVE to sort out what to buy and when to buy, but the size of me, it will be a while before I starve even if I didn't eat for a couple of days!!!

Piggers hope your dd is ok
