I'm in and I've completed the June challenge

Going to Hoover and. Mop downstairs and clean all downstairs windows. Got to take eldest through to cricket festival, work at dinner, take down living room blind as new one being fitted about 4:30. Must remember to go shop and cash machine on school run and take stuff to charity shop.

Love the new list, thanks Dusty.
Challenge: only did for two weeks but better than nothing. Only had fruit for breakfast today though.

I'm going to walk the dogs then come back and make a start on the list by hoovering and mopping the floors. I've already started the paid stuff so will see what I can fit in.

Rest of week (ideas applicable to me):
    Decluttering: Cupboard under stairs
    Deep clean: oven
Frog: check contents insurance is sufficient. This means doing an inventory of everything we own.

One sleep to debt free day!!!!

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Morning everyone

I ate a massive frog yesterday in the shape of some voluntary job paperwork that has been building up for ages. Feel a tiny bit resentful that I lost most of my Sunday to this task but very relieved that it is done - and I am handing this job on to someone else so it wont be to do again. There are smaller frogs lurking though.

Paid stuff to do - and I need to look at my finances for July. I havent been doing much on my second job which has been nice, but that means I wont be getting paid much either!

Have a good day everyone x
  • Hello :hello:

Thank you Natty and Dusty for your lists, but am sort of going to do my own thing this week. I've been re-reading Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui by Karen Kingston and it's given me ideas! There are also non-flying things that need to be done as well (crochetting and surveys to name but two), so watch this space .....

June Challenge: Failed, but, Bossy, did I read that it might be extended into July? If so, please count me in.

Hope to post back later with details of how the day is going/has gone.

Hello all, I am in this week please, thank you for the lists Dusty + Natty. I really like the look of the new list and really love the way Lynne and Jazee have adapted it to suit themselves, think I need to get my note pad out and have a scribble.

So for the last few weeks I have been feeling rubbish, eating rubbish being tired having no motivation and then I realise I haven't rang docs for scrips so really need to do that after 1pm when they allow it.

Ds1 toilet training is going brilliantly, I have tried several times since he was 2 but I think now at 2yrs 10months we have cracked it!

I have stripped all beds and need to crack on with clearing the floor see you all later x

If it is your birthday today as I believe it might be, BossyMoo, Happy Birthday! and have a (((hug))) as well.

I may be in with a chance this week.

Monday - definitely doable Downstairs Dash
    Tuesday - Declutter Office
    Wednesday - Deep clean Office
Thursday - Frog Feast in the Office
Friday - Unwieldy Upstairs (guess where my Office is).

There may be a theme to that little listy.

First WM load on, cuppa slurped.

The Nifter is due back at 1.00 pm today and will be told the rent is going up, and that in future it will be paid on Thursday each week at the latest. No excuses.
    Better is good enough.

Happy Birthday, Bossymoo! Hope you have a lovely day.

Mumto5, you sounded lovely and relaxed and happy last night: long may it continue! Enjoy the zoo :j and yah-boo-sucks to the weather app. My DH keeps an eye on 2 of them - one for a village about 2 miles south of us, the other for an area a mile north - and more often than not, the weather that we get is totally different from both ;)

Jazee, here's to a great day for you tomorrow

Thank you Dusty for the new list and Lynne for your ideas for the rest of the week. I'm in, as much as meetings and courses - and today's late start! - allow. Washing is up-to-date, and there's still very little dust to see - compare that to this time last year, when we had just moved in and were beginning to knock through wall, and I realise how much we've achieved in these 12 months. DH started working on the garden railway yesterday, so hopefully the raised bed will be finished in July.

I am currently even making more mess in the study whilst I sort and create course materials. I hope to get most of these things done by the end of this week, but my GUAG is still hiding somewhere among the papers and other bits'n'pieces.

    Today I need to
    - update Unit 1 course leader's notes
    - email D
    - email N about something else that requires a bit of thought
    - go to meetings at 11.30 and 2.00
    - send @m@z0n order
    - add to H066ycr@ft order with 15% off voucher :money: as I think of things
    - finish sorting card photo files into folders for easy reference
    - finish printing flower photos
    - clear utility table
    - do QHI
    - shop for and prepare breakfast for 4, for a 7.00 am meeting tomorrow
    - go to housewarming party for one of the Old Wives at 8.00 pm (remembering to take folding chairs ;) )

    Re: June challenge:
We get weighed tomorrow: I have lost a bit in June, but am not expecting it to be as much as 5lb, so I'm still visible :p
Before we went on holiday I planted out and potted on everything I could; I will deal with the 2 new plants I acquired when I mow the lawn and tidy the flower beds later this week, and the alpines will move to their permanent home once DH has laid his railway track.
The paint touch-ups will not be done until DH is out on the big steam railway for a full day's training (postponed to next week), when I won't have to worry about him blundering into wet walls.
The voile will not be hung in the kitchen until the paint has been touched up and DH is available to help :D

Breakfast, then work. Hope everyone has a good day. (((Hugs))), spoons and sticks all round, as needed x
