Then had fruit for lunch and was feeling weird - eyes sore -? high pollen count. Sat down to watch tennis for half an hour - that was at 1 o'clock - DH arrived home early and I was still dozing!!!! Must admit I feel much better - so onwards and upwards!!!

I don't think the colour of his trousers - grey or black - should matter one jot! As long as he is smart and clean then fine. And I don't see why they should expect black, it's a week's work experience for a young teenager not a career-changing interview for an executive.
I agree (sorry can't remember who said it) he should definitely wear shoes - well polished - with the school trousers, shirt (and tie). I'm guessing this will be a change to his normal school-day wear and if he turns up like this, on time, with a smile and a positive attitude then he will get a lot out of the experience.*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Mine all wear shoes rather than trainers as a matter of course, they aren't allowed trainers for school. I shall see what the chazzer has in for him and make do. His school trousers are very obviously school trousers so f I can find black I will get those.. I *may* have a pair of DS2's black school trousers still, unlikely mind.. He has no shirts either but if I get a smart short sleeved one it will do for Pixies baptism in 2 weeks too.. and OH probably has a non-offensive tie he can borrowLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
