Ok, we didn't win anything, and his behaviour was only ok in the context of a field full of equally boisterous bull terriers, but he was on his harness not his head collar and I kept control.Ish. Happy bunny.:) Maybe the forthcoming display won't be 100% traumatic after all........

If it had been a field of normal dogs, it probably would have been. My goodness they can play rough.
Just for you though::D
Another day in the life of a bull terrier nan. Mother arrives at mine to collect Gitdog for the day. He is somewhat reluctant to get up and hides his head in the pillow ignoring all cajoling until a bang on the top of the crate shifts him. They get as far as the porch, where he sits without prompting. Mother is extremely impressed by this unusual display of doggy door manners so she praises him and giving the release command heads towards the car. She is brought up short by a tight lead, and looking back discovers Gitdog still ensconced in the porch taking the air. She hoiks him out and manages a further few steps before he collapses in a sunbathing heap. She prompts him to his feet and 3 steps later he reverts to the pavement, still sunbathing. A concerned neighbour asks if he is unwell. Through gritted teeth and swearing, Gitdog is again prodded to his feet. He makes it as far as the next house before gently sliding down the wall and into a prone position, finally coming to rest on his back. More swearing and gritted teeth get him as far as the car where it is clearly beyond the capacity of a 3 year old fit and healthy bully to get any part of his anatomy onto the back seat. He is hauled in by my 75 year old parent who by this time is losing the will to live. Anyone wanting to know what having a bull terrier is like, welcome to our world.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Believe me, he is regularly called by many other names.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Hahaha! He sounds like a right character
I was at a Game Fair yesterday and there was a lovely EBT I wanted to say hello to but my Jess took exception to him so I couldn't
Jess gets very confused by dogs that don't have 'dog' features. So pugs, Frenchies, bulldogs etc 0
