6 years on....

And Equifax STILL have a £10K CCJ showing as live despite HMRC agreeing they have it as "settled"

My rating with them is 400 as against 900 with Experian, who dont even show my BR now...i have 2 credit cards and got £1000 hp on an item, so something must be working

Do I have to go round and kick the doors in to make them catch up?

Was this one settled by your bankruptcy Max?

Or did you actually pay it in full?

  • I have experience of Equifax being very slow to update records and this has also been told to me by the ladies at the registry trust.

    Was it settled or satisfied?

If I remember checkmyfile only updates once per month, and anyway Equifax are slow to update and remove things their end as well. Combine the 2 and not really surprised.

To know reliably if it's still there and visible to lenders you need to check directly with Equifax.

Even if still there, it probably won't be for much longer, can complain directly to Equifax all the same.
