in Credit cards
Hi,
I'm trying to help my mum sort out her credit card debt by shifting her to a 0% balance transfer card. However we have moved house at the start of this month, having lived at our previous address since December 2010. I wasn't sure if she was likely to be declined due to such a recent house move? If so how long would be best to wait? Obviously I'm aware other factors will be looked at such as her repayment history, electoral role etc.
Any advice would be much appreciated

You can move house and still get credit so don't worry about that. They'll look at the credit report at the previous address.
She won't yet be on the electoral roll but that isn't necessary either.
Moving every 6 months is likely to be a problem to credit providers but 4 years at a previous address should (in my opinion) be fine.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
