Hi,
Is it sensible to get a gas safety check each year and, if so, how much should I expect to pay for it?
Should I ask my energy supplier to undertake the check?
Thanks

Annual checks are mandatory for Rental properties
If you ask a question like above, nobody will dare to say it isn't necessary.
So yes get one done - perhaps every week in case a fault develops a day or two after the annual check!0 -

Annual service of central heating should cover it. If it doesn't, ask that it does in future.0 -

You need an appropriately qualified GSR engineer to inpect it. It'll cost about £50-£80 or significantly more if you ask British Gas.0
