Cost and ease of diagnosing a speedometer repair is one thing.
In reality so many vehicles get clocked by back-street grease monkeys and main dealers alike that any mileage numbers displayed should be viewed with caution.
Give a high miler well maintained car any day rather than some low miler city runabout. I'd like to see cars with a running hours counter as well as milometer, it would be a lot more revealing.0 -
