I'm currently in an iva of whick my main creditor has sold on their debt to a collection agency. How does this effect my agreement of the iva, especially as the debt in question is the majority of my overall debt so can the new collection agency influence my initial agreement or do they have to comply with the original agreement

It has no effect at all, the new agency is still legally bound.0

As above, your IVA is a legally binding agreement between you and your creditors, the new DCA is bound by the same rules as the previous creditor, no need t o worry, your IP will handle any queries arising from this.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
