Bank holiday weekend getaway

Options
We're looking to head off somewhere within about 1 hour of Manchester for the bank holiday Saturday and Sunday that's not full of tourists. Our budget is around £200 - £250. Has anyone got any ideas?

Thats a really difficult question to answer. Not full of tourists ? Why not see what carden park has to offer . Its Aug B/H so most places thats anywhere have tourists . Why not stay at home . Try Burnage or Dumplington

"Not full of tourists" isn't a requirement of mine, it's from the OH. I can get to Dumplington within around 20 minutes on the bus.
Anyway, thank you. You've been helpful.
    Any other thoughts, anyone?
