VCS Liverpool - Rejection letter refers to wrong location

Hi, my first post. Have had to deal with two PCN's in last month so have spent some time browsing and useing the standard templates. Thanks to all who have posted here and written the really useful advice.

I recieved a PCN from VCS regarding stopping on a restricted road on the Liverpool International Business Park. In their rejection letter to my appeal they refer to their contract with the owners of the Airport and their authority to issue PCN's for breaches on the access roads to the airport. The business park is not part of the airport and any roads in it are seperated from the airport roads by public highway.

Could this mean that the rejection notice is invalid?

I will obviously use the templates that others have used in their succesfull appeals, but wonder if i should add this as an additional point.

I would definitely add it. Post draft wording here of POPLA template, wither hasp those extra words in blue for any suggestions.

Yep add it, without talking about who parked, of course. VCS are always doing that sort of thing. They send letters mentioning Liverpool Airport to people with tickets from other Airports too!

The park is on the old airport site, half of which is owned by Peel. They have dumb in the static van on the roundabout on the approach road to the airport. Then dumber in another van who circles the airport approach and the industrial estate.

The are correct in that they have a contract with the owners [allegedly], but wrong regarding the location. Incidentally the other half of the estate is owned by UK Land and they do not have any stopping or parking enforcement and guess what don't have any problems whatsoever.

The only vehicles you see parked on Peels half is their van or foreign lorries, which they cant do nowt about. The only people they seem to catch out are people who stop to pick people up from work, as you cant enter the site's.

They even have no stopping signs next to the two bus stops they have on their half!

I take great pleasure in nipping in before the van and let people know they are about to be photographed.
