Hi, I am thinking about buying a TV with an integrated Freeview. I have Sky+ and want to know if this will work OK with the integrated freeview.

I've just done the same thing and want to ditch Sky but keep the facilities offered by Sky+. I searched last night and I think our options are:
1) Cancel Sky but keep paying £10 a month for Sky+, Grrrrrrr
2) Cancel Sky and buy a HDD Recorder for £120 or more
After a year the HDD Recorder works out cheaper but I resent the fact I've paid for a Sky+ box. I suppose I could sell that. I'm assuming the HDD recorders offer everything a Sky+ box? They certainly have bigger hard drives - 80GB seems standard.0 -
Also ... I read this morning that E4 is now a free channel on Freeview (true, I can get it through the TV) but not on Sky. I'm assuming that if we keep Sky+, we wouldn't be able to record E4 without a subscription.0

I presume that you don't want any of the premium channels.0

We'd be happy with just the free channels, especially for the summer.0 -
Our family like some of the premium channels, so I think that we would have to keep sky. You could always try selling your Sky+ box.0
