Instant win?? help needed, please

Options
Last week, I won a tea towel on the Le Rustique de Printemps instant win competition.
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4979095

It said confirmation email had been sent. This arrived an hour or so later.

The next day my OH did the comp and it said he had won the trip to Normandy, again saying a confirmation email had been sent. He took a screenshot of the win, but no email has arrived.

I was a bit worried, as it said only one prize from same household/ip address, as although we have separate households, the wins were on the same computer. So was glad when he said he had coincidentally actually rebooted the router earlier on the day he had won, so ipaddress would have changed.

Anyway he has sent them a message twice using the contact form at the bottom of the competition page, but heard nothing back.

And he has also emailed info@bongrainuln.co.uk, which is a contact address for a parent company of le rustique, asking if they could contact the relevant person and ask for a response. But no reply from them either.

I'm not sure what else to do. If we didn't get the prize it's not the end of the world, as it involves a flight to Paris, a 3 hour train journey, pick up a hire car, 2 nights B&B, a balloon trip if the weather's ok, and drop off hire car, get train, get flight.

Anyone any ideas for getting in touch?

The IP address will not have changed (That's the IP address of the computer not your router which does usually change on a restart unless you have a fixed one).

According to my OH it would have, and he is an IT technician.

Depends what the site you visited is reading, your computer has an IP address that generally does not change (unless you are reinstalling) - my computers and routers have been shut down and rebooted numerous times but some stats figures I can get show my ip address and that it has been the "same the last 4,307" times I visited the site, other PCs in used also show their IP addresses have never changed.

Don't pretend to be particularly IT minded but this thread would tend to indicate IP address doesn't change

    Link

Still strange they haven't replied though if even to say they thought it was not a valid entry.

Ok, so computer address doesn't change but external router ipaddress does and that is what is seen from outside, so it would not appear to be entered from same ipaddress.

But still frustrated that they have not replied to my OH's messages.

I can access my data on external sites (not mse) which show my computer address has been recorded along with the router ip so if I visit twice from the same PC it shows as it would if I used different PCs without rebooting the router.
