These seem really pricey and I stuggle to believe that they're worth the money but I still kind of want one...

I used to drive past a wood which had various plots advertised on there (they'd take one big wood and divided it up). I can recall the signs going up at least 5 years ago and there is still at least one for sale now. That suggests to me that resale value is rather hard to achieve given how long it took to sell first time up.
That said if you have the money and like the outdoors, having your own place to camp etc might be good fun. Bear in mind though that you'd almost certainly have to keep it as a wood so at best you'd get a limited amount of timber from it for firewood.Adventure before Dementia!0 -
There are some near me which have been on the market for at least 6 years, possibly longer.
I presume that they come with upkeep costs. I'd only buy if I wanted it for itself, I would not assume that it would keep or increase it's value.
If they happens to have a small bit very close to my home I might be tempted. .All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0
