Do these digi-senders only work on Sky, I have Cable tv and would love a tv upstairs minus the wires, also would one of these digi-boxes interfere with internet wireless?SallyD0

My sender plugs into the scart output of my Sky + box. Logically speaking, you can connect it up to any scart output and it would transmit it - so you could use it with an NTL box, VCR, DVD player etc... In fact, I believe the manual says you can even hook it up to a PC!
I think that only Sky remotes work with it, but you can get a picture from any scart (or RGB) source.
As for it interfering with Wifi - I was a little concerned about this - but I can safely say, the Medion sender from Toys R Us does not interfere with the 802.11g signal from my Belkin Wireless hub. (Obviously different senders / wireless hubs may show different results - but it works for me!)

Any remote will work with the sender as long as it's the remote for what ever box you using to send pictures. Lawe :wave:0 -

Works with anything!
You can send DVD, Freeview, VCR, Sky and as said elsewhere even your PC!
As long as the equipment has a scart and sends a signal then you can use a sender. Lawe :wave:0 -
Hi excuse me im a bit thick about this ! You said it works with dvd , sky etc. SO I just plug it in and can recieve sky and dvd upstairs ? The sky man put a cable in my bedroom for a tenner when he visited before but it does not work in my other bedroom, even altough i tried connecting an airel cable through. So would the digi sender be an answer then. Great if it did as i unfortunately am confinded upstairs a lot.
Thankyou0 -

I had a quote for sky eye link to be put in. This is for the eye itself, the wire and going through the outside wall and up to the bedroom directly above. I think hes including a sky remote for it too and he quoted £90 but he said I might need a booster putting on to allow it to work in a 2nd bedroom too but the link to that one is already there. I thought £90 might be a bit much is it? seeing as Ive seen the eyes for a bit more than £6 on the netThanx
