Trying to estimate bills?
Hi,
Me and my partner (plus baby on the way) are just about to move into a small 2 bedroom terraced house in Bromley.
I am just trying to get an idea of what the monthly bills are likely to be, can anyone help?
I know it depends on a lot of things so I cant rely on these estimates but Im just trying to get an idea!
Gas: ?
Electric: ?
Water: ?
I already know what council tax and tv licence will be.
Grateful for any answers

I think bills can vary quite a bit. No one can guess how much energy you will use as well as how well your home is insulated etc.
We live in a small 2 bed mid terrace (2 adults, 2 young children) we have good loft insulation, cavity wall insulation and double glazing. Our electric and gas combined is £55 per month and Our water was £30 per month but has recently dropped to £10 per month as we had overpaid quite a bit.0 -
Hi,
I am living in a two bed maisonette and my avg gas was about £30/mo and avg elec was £35 with my previous company but the new company is giving me slightly cheaper. Obviously, for summer you have less usage as compared to winter so I have given you an avg of last 12 months. Bear in mind in can vary by a good margin with new baby on the way
For water, it depends who your provider is.0 -

Gas and electric quite easyish, take meter readings, and then again 7 days later, then enter your figures in somewhere like this , obviously multiply the final figure by 4 to get a near figure for the month, remember though that would be summer reading 1.5-2 times the figure for winter months.0
