Its a rusty sump so its not aluminium.
Too few car buyers are capable of spotting bald or perished tyres or nackered discs or a dipstick that doesn't reach the oil or oily coolant, so the chances of them getting down and examining the underside closely enough to find a sump's welded patch under layers of paint grease and dirt is remote.0
