I agree, never confirm address, name of business, telephone number, name of suppliers (including utility suppliers) or anything with a cold-caller. Legitimate companies have absolutely no need to make enquiries about any aspect of your business, even down to the name of the business. If they ask you to confirm anything, just say you have a policy of not confirming details of the business with cold-callers.0
