I recently moved house and stayed with Npower ,they emailed me a new contract and gave me 14 days to cancel if needed, I always thought it was 28 days ,am I wrong ??

When you move into a house you initially have to sign up with whichever company the previous occupier was using. I hope you read the meters and kept a note, and submitted the readings to the company.
Once you are in the contract with that company, you can make arrangements to switch to a different one.
I don't know what would happen if you decided to cancel the carried over contract to provide energy to you new home. You have to pay someone for energy from the day you moved in.0 -
Nope, always been 14 days as far as I can remember.
The more pertinent question is why would you stay with npower!0 -
Obviously having a real bad day !!!! But they came out the best provider for me through energy club on here !0
